As the ICWCI honorary Health and Safety Officer, I have been attending periodic meetings of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) Health and Safety Committee. As a full member of the CIC, the ICWCI sit with other major construction industry members such as RIBA, ACE , IStructE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT and most significantly the HSE.
At the last meeting held on Wednesday 26 May 2010 at Canary Wharf, London representatives from the CIC discussed and gave an update on the PQPC (Professionally Qualified Persons Card).
